The year of Jubilee came to the Jews in Babylon, but King Nebuchadnezzar did not respect the Laws and customs of the Jews. So he asks Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego why he should observe them. Shadrach answered, "Well it's because our forefathers were lead through the Red Sea on dry ground and delivered out of the hands of pharaoh that we worship God wherever he leads us". Meshach answered, "Well it's because God makes it rain on both the just and unjust so we should honour him". But Abednego answered, "Lord, if I may, please do to us and more if we offend thee, but we will not bow down to your ungodly statutes."
